Beyond the Boundaries, which puts on weekend snowboard camps that are freestyle-focused on improving the abilities of all park snowboarders  at ski areas throughout the Lower 48, is hosting a camp at Wisconsin's Trollhaugen ski area on Friday, January 10. It's their first event in the Midwest.

 Their staff of seasoned coaches follows you every step of the way from hitting your first box, help you step to street-style rails, carving, beginner to intermediate sized jumps, rails for a variety of riders to learn new tricks. Professional snowboarders and coaching staff are there to provide guidance and advice, accomplished women who bring a lot of knowledge and passion to each weekend camp. During each camp building confidence is emphasized. They offer coached stations where each rider can choose from to dial in their favorite tricks.

 Trollhaugen is one of the Badger State's oldest ski areas. It was the fourth ski area to open in Wisconsin in 1950. The storied ski area, which is about 50 minutes from the downtown area, has long been a favorite for Twin Cities skiers and riders. It's been referred to as a time machine hankering back to the Heartland's older, smaller ski area. It's considered a true Midwest gem.

 They offer skiing and snowboarding spread over 22 runs, 4 terrain parks, a 2.5km XC trail, 10 lanes of snow tubing, and an all-season zip line park. They are one off the few areas in the Heartland to offer late night skiing and riding. They are open until 3 am. every Friday in season with live music in the lounge, It's quite a party. The Trollhaugen Troll, likes to say they offers "Minnesconsin" residents night skiing/snowboarding all season.

 Renowned for its terrain parks, which are rated among the top three in the Midwest Region by TransWorld Snowboarding Magazine, Trollhaugen is a popular destination for Heartland snowboarders.
