Temps Des Sucres kicked off on March 28, and will run through April 19, 2026. The springtime nod to the region’s maple-sugaring roots offers a discounted lodging package, and a chance bundle that stay with on-snow lift tickets, ice skating, waterpark tickets, or any combination of those.

Those booking this special stay can get a discounted day-of-arrival ticket for the waterpark for just $25 or a lift ticket for $45.

The lodging packages feature a stay in the Stateside Hotel, Hotel Jay, Tram Haus Lodge, or any 1- or 2-bedroom Cottage. You also get access to free movies at the Clips and Reels Movie Theater on Stateside.

Each weekend will follow a similar schedule:

Saturday:
Free live music with the Seth Yacovone Band from 4 to 7 p.m. at the outdoor stage on Alice’s Patio.

Scenic horse-drawn carriage rides from noon to 6 p.m.

Classic maple treats served at the Clubhouse from a local maple syrup maker.

Starting on April 6, 2026, lift hours will change a little bit. The lower mountain will open at 9 a.m., and the upper mountain opens at 9:30 a.m. All lifts will close at 5 p.m. There will be no difference between midweek and weekend hours.

While the rest of the country is starved for snow and cold weather, snow is still falling at Jay Peak. A week ago, the mountain got a dusting of 3”, bringing the season total to 397’. As of April 2, 2026, 56 of 83 trails were open, with ropes dropped on all three terrain parks, and seven of nine lifts spinning. Jay is working with a base depth between 16 and 40”.
