Jay Peak Slides into the Solstice with Sessions on Snow

Jay Peak is blending the joy of the longest day of the year with the stoke from the shortest day of the year, pushing out carefully preserved snow for Summer Solstice Sessions 2025.
An official Vermont Signature Series event, this isn't just another music festival, and it's definitely not your typical ski day. By stockpiling snow through the winter months, Jay Peak creates a unique playground where summer sun meets winter terrain. The snow is just half the story. The Stateside Amphitheater turns electric with a battle of the bands showcasing Vermont's musical talents competing for glory, cash, and a performance slot at the 2026 Jeezum Crow Festival.
This is Vermont doing what Vermont does best. Summer Solstice Sessions brings the community together while supporting a great cause. Jay Peak has pledged $1,500 to Montgomery Smiles, a local non-profit working to build a community skate park, with half of all concert ticket revenue (after expenses) also going to support this effort. Every ticket helps create space for the next generation of green mountain shredders. Skatepark features will also be set up making this a multi-sport, multi-season, multi-purpose celebration.
The on-snow action runs from noon to 6 PM, with limited tickets still available in 3-hour blocks (12-3p, 3-6p) or for the full six-hour experience. On-snow tickets are required for all ages (including the little ones) and include concert access. General admission concert-only tickets are only $15 in advance ($25 day-of) with no service fees. Kids 6 and under get in free with a ticketed adult.
Overnight camping is not permitted for the weekend (including the Jay Peak 242 lot), but lodging packages are available at the Stateside Hotel and mountain cottages for a truly unique Solstice weekend getaway.
The snow is waiting, the bands are ready, and the days are only getting shorter from here. Come celebrate winter in the middle of summer at Jay Peak!
