Next Season's Indy Pass To Go On Sale March 1

The two-days-per-resort Indy Pass goes on sale to the skiing and riding public on March 1, with a new 250-resort guarantee and a rebate if your favorite mountain drops off the list for the 2025-2026 season.
If you are new to Indy Pass, be ready on March 1 at 10 a.m. (Mountain Time) to hit the "Shop 25/26 Passes" button on the website.
Indy Pass officials put a cap on the number of Indy Pass sold each year and do not reveal how many passes are for sale. That number rises with the number of resorts in the Indy portfolio -- and a limited fall sale is also possible to coincide with a rise in membership.
Last season, initial sales reached its capacity on March 18 -- with a wait list available in case anyone drops off. But, another sale went up in the fall because 52 mountains were added to the list, the majority of them outside the U.S.
In 2024-2025, Indy Pass could be redeemed for at least 230 resorts in U.S., Canada, Europe and Japan -- including about 180 downhill resorts and 34 cross-country only outlets. Canada had 19 alpine destinations, Japan offered 26, and Europe had six. In the U.S., selections parse out fairly evenly among the West Coast, Rockies, Midwest, and East.
Indy Pass has two return options this season: If they don't sign up at least 250 resorts -- regardless of location or type -- by Dec. 1, a pass can be refunded by Dec. 10. If a "favorite" mountain has dropped off the list before Nov. 1, a refund can be had by that date.
Since 2019, the Indy Pass has been redeemable for two free days plus a third-day discount at member-resorts, with some blackouts and only discounts at "allied" resorts. Membership focuses on smaller, day-trip, independently owned ski and snowboard mountains. Only Mt. Hood Meadows in Oregon and Big White in British Columbia could be considered destination resorts.
