Two multi-mountain season passes that have recently joined the mega-pass fray have announced pricing and options for the 2026-2027 season in the West.

As the West's largest regional season pass, the Power Pass opens up access to 10 mountains in five states. From mothership Purgatory in southwest Colorado to Arizona Snowbowl outside Flagstaff to Willamette Pass in Oregon, this decade-old pass spreads the possibilities all across the West.

This season, Power Pass owners have kept prices the same as the last four years. In a concerted effort to attract younger skiers and riders, Durango-based Mountain Capital Partners promotes discounts in four age ranges from 13 to 36 -- and continues to make skiing and riding free for kids through age 12.

In addition, skiers and riders can chose more specific access at lower prices: Unlimited; 12 days at four resorts and unlimited at the rest; weekday only with option to select specific days; and, resort-specific.

Likely the most eclectic pass in the U.S., the Power Pass MCP now operates South America's largest resort Valle Nevada and La Parma in Chile during the Southern Hemisphere winter. In addition, Spider Bike Park outside of Austin, Texas, is on the pass, as well as two golf courses in Show Low, Arizona.

As its name implies, the Cali Pass focuses on resorts in the nation's third-largest state. A string of four mountains -- Bear Valley, Dodge Ridge, China Peak and Mountain High -- can be had any day. They are all owned by California Mountain Resort Co.

An added benefit to the Cali Pass is that it qualifies pass-holders for the Powder Alliance. Three days free can be had at California's Sierra-at-Tahoe and Mt. Shasta; Oregon's Mt. Hood SkiBowl and Timberline; Idaho's Bogus Basin and Silver Mountain; Washington's Mission Ridge and White Pass; Colorado's Ski Cooper and Loveland; New Mexico's Angel Fire; Wyoming's Snow King; and, Eaglecrest in Alaska.

New this season is the College Pass. With 12 undergraduate credits and six graduate, a $50 deposit before May 1 nails down a $399 pass that has to paid in full Oct. 31. Assemble "crews" of two to 10, and the price drops to as low as $249 with the $50 deposit. However, no Powder Alliance benefit for College Pass.

Not yet up for sale, the Mt. Hood Fusion Pass give unlimited access to Mt. Hood SkiBowl and Timberline, as well as access to the Powder Alliance. Sale usually begins in September.
