Spring Series Returns to Big Sky Resort
Slushy turns and scorching tunes are on the menu at Big Sky Resort every weekend through April. Music meets spring skiing and mountain culture as the mecca of Montana powder seekers transforms into an alpine amphitheater for the Spring Series.
April 4 kicked off with Big Gigantic performing in The Bowl below Big Couloir. The blend of saxophone and synth-beats arrived just days after a fresh dump delivered over 24” to the mountain. The vibes were as electric as the dance music blasting for the packed crowd torn between fresh beats and fresh tracks.
April 11 brings the bright, uplifting, energetic sound of the female DJ and songwriting duo me n u to The Bowl. This rising act in dance music will pair with the annual pond skim as perfectly as champagne with the Iglu bar, still slinging drinks at 9,000ft.
April 18 brings Santa Barbara’s Laszewo to perform below the tram with high-energy electronic pop for the first of two bonus weekends. With the sun as blistering as the beats, don’t forget your sunscreen for long days and hot aprés.
April 25 R&B star Tinashe closes Spring Series with a DJ set that will also be the finale of the season at Montana’s largest resort. The resort is tapping into major star power for closing weekend. Spring Series promotions sum up the closing act: “Having headlined two world tours and collaborated with artists from Britney Spears to A$AP Rocky, Usher to Calvin Harris, Tinashe brings the star power our closing weekend deserves.”
All shows run from 12p-3p and lift tickets are required for access. Slide on down the hill to the aprés party in the base village to keep the vibes high and the dancers grooving. Big Sky will continue daily operations through April 12, shifting to Bonus Weekend operations (Fri-Sun) to close out the season April 26.
