Stratton Hosts Gather Outdoor Festival This Weekend
The snow is still falling at Stratton Mountain Resort in southern Vermont, and folks over there want to send off the 2025-2026 season in style.
The Gather Outdoors festival returns to Stratton on April 11 and 12, 2026. What was created as a high-energy sendoff to ski season combines live music with the beautiful mountains of southern Vermont. Sixteen musical acts are on the lineup for Friday and Saturday.

The festival will feature two stages at the base of the mountain. Bands will start in the mid-afternoon and go into the night, ensuring those in attendance can get their laps in before transitioning to après mode.
Tickets start at $147, and you can buy them at this link here.
The festival features three groups of shredders themselves. Sound Tribe Sector 9, Ranger Trucco, and Know Good. Sound Tribe Sector 9 has played countless shows across the country, including more than 30 at Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater. The group was recently inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame.
Ranger Trucco grew up in Traverse City, Michigan, and now lives in Los Angeles. His style of house music blends both American and European styles, and you can often see him performing at après-ski hotbeds like Vail.
Those looking for a way to get to the mountain from New York City can hop on a charter bus with OvRride. There will be two trips made per day on both Saturday and Sunday. The bus leaves NYC early in the morning, and leaves Stratton to head back into the city at 6 p.m. You can book that here.
As of April 8, 2026, Stratton was running four lifts with 29 open trails and 151 acres of open terrain available. There’s also one terrain park open. Perhaps most importantly, East Byrnes will open back up with a freshly cut halfpipe. Not too shabby for the middle of April.
