New for the 2026-2027 season, Midwest Family Resorts will be joining Ikon Pass! Three of the largest resorts in the Midwest region, Lutsen Mountains, Granite Peak Ski Area, and Snowriver Mountain Resort will offer 5 or 7 days (depending on which Ikon Pass option chosen) at each resort next season. The fun doesn't just start next winter - March 12th through the end of this season Midwest Family Resorts is offering Ikon Passholders 50% off at all three resorts to kick off the partnership. Ikon passes go on sale for the 26/27 season March 12th with over 70 resorts across the globe, the Ikon Base Pass starts at $924 and the Ikon Pass $1349 for adults which are great options for those who like to visit different resorts through out the season, or are planning a trip to a resort on the Ikon Passes.

 

In a recent press release, Charles Skinner, owner of Midwest Family Ski Resorts said "We couldn't be more excited to join the Ikon Pass community and expose Ikon Pass Holders to our incredible mountains, while offering our local passholders the opporutnity to explore some of the best skiing and riding on the planet." He continues "We remain fully committed to invesrting in our local communities and guests and feel joining the Ikon Pass only enhances these efforts."

 

Matt Bowers, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Products at Alterra Mountain Company commented "we are thrilled to welcome Granite Peak, Lutsen Mountains, and Snowriver Resort into the Ikon Pass community." Adding to that, Bowers wrote "Ikon Pass is intentionally made up of unique destinations with a deep sense of community. By partnering with these three destinations, we're expanding pass holder value by offering access to the premier ski destinations int he Midwest and reinforcing our support for authentic mountain experiences."

 

An exciting new option for Midwest Family Resort season pass holders is the Platinum Legendary Pass in addition to their Gold, Silver, and Bronze Legendary passes. This new option features unlimited days with no black out dates at all three resorts with the choice to add on the Ikon Base Pass for $299 saving $650 or the Ikon Pass for $799 saving $600. The new Platinum Legendary Pass starts at $749 for ages 13-29 and $999 for adults 30-79. Other passholder benefits include discounts on retail and dining, as well as Friends and Family tickets, the Platinum level pass offering the highest level of those benefits. Season passes for 26/27 at Midwest Family Resorts go on sale the same day as Ikon Pass, March 12th. Be sure to also check out Devil’s Head Resort in Wisconsin, Wild Mountain and Buck Hill Ski & Snowboard Area in Minnesota, each area has two day access with Ikon Passes giving skiers and riders lots of options in the Midwest and Beyond!
