Vermont Ski Areas To Host Specialty Food Days Through March
If you’re skiing or riding, you’re probably hungry. You’re probably also hesitant to eat more chicken tenders and fries, or lodge pizza slices.
Well good news to those who are shredding in Vermont. Ski Vermont is hosting a Specialty Food Day Tour at 17 member ski areas, with local food, beverages, and Vermont vendors. Think of it like a pop-up farmer’s market, without someone squishing all of the good tomatoes.
The tour kicked off at the end of January at Jay Peak. The next available stop will be at Killington Resort on February 6, 2026. That will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the K1 lodge. Plan to pivot to the patio if it isn’t too cold.
There will be all sorts of good stuff. Cabot Cheese, Vermont Hard Seltzer Company, 802 Coffee, Great Mountain Peanut Butter, Vermont Marshmallow Company, Woodchuck Hard Cider, Mad River Distillers, and Chimera Meats are just some of the brands that will be there.
