The resort features a range of runs suitable for all skill levels, with 18% beginner, 26% intermediate, and 32% advanced terrain. Ski Cooper is one of the oldest ski areas in Colorado, having served as a training ground for the 10th Mountain Division during World War II, adding a unique historical touch to the experience.

Complimentary (free) non-lift served uphill access to the ski area is available between 4p and 8a subject to the conditions and rules set forth below. All uphill users without a valid season or day pass must complete their activity and be off the mountain no later than 8:45a, 15 minutes before the lifts start.)
