Powderhorn Mountain Resort

Enjoy shorter lift lines, open runs, and a welcoming atmosphere at Powderhorn Mountain Resort. The westernmost resort in Colorado, Powderhorn is located on the slopes of the Grand Mesa the world s largest flat-topped mountain. This one-of-a-kind location offers 1,600 acres of terrain descending 1,650 vertical feet, blanketed by an average 250 inches of legendary Colorado snow. Avoid the costs and crowds of larger resorts and spend more time on the slopes!

Powderhorn has terrain for all skill levels, with 20% beginner, 50% intermediate, and 30% advanced trails. If you re just starting out, book a private or group lesson with discounted equipment rentals and day tickets, and learn on our two surface lifts and Easy Rider chairlift. Take the Flat Top Flyer high-speed quad lift to the top of the resort to explore blue and black runs with open groomers, moguls, and progressive terrain. If you re looking for a challenge, discover the aspen and pine glades across the mountain and visit the West End lift for steeper terrain, boulder fields, and powder stashes deep in the trees.
