Uphill skiing is allowed: Great Divide Ski Area Policy Page (Designated Uphill Route applies to all days during the ski season, regardless of if the ski area is in operation. You may ski up only when the lifts are not operating/carrying public. Once public boards the lifts for daily or nighttime operations, you must stop ascending and begin skiing down. Ascents may not begin again until ski patrol have completed their "sweep" at the end of operations. Generally hour after closing, but always check in at the ticket office or lodge to confirm.)
