Routes:
  • CINDER CONE ROUTE: This route originates at the bottom of Red Chairlift and ascends the Leeway run to the saddle of the Cone. Travel is permitted 360 degrees around the Cone. This route is open 24 hours. Ascent to the Pine Marten route is only permitted if that trail is marked as open.
  • PINE MARTEN ROUTE: The Pine Marten route begins at the saddle of the Cone and follows route markers along the climbers' right side of the Leeway trail to Upper Ed's Garden then through the trees to the backside of Pine Marten Lodge. This route is only open when Pine Marten Express is open, conditions allow, and when kiosk signs or 'Uphill Routes' status site indicates the route is open.
  • SUMMIT ROUTE: This route begins above Pine Marten Lodge then takes West Ridge trail to the summit. Travel is allowed only when the Summit chair is operating and the kiosk signs or 'Uphill Routes' status on the website indicates the route is open. The Summit route closes when the lift closes at 3p. Those starting late in the day will be turned around by Ski Patrol. This route is not advised for snowshoes.
